人造石通常是指人造石实体面材、人造石石英石、人造石岗石等。人造石类型不同，其成分也不尽相同。成分主要是树脂、铝粉、颜料和固化剂,有以下几个特点：

1、 绚丽多彩、无放射性，使用安全；

2、 兼具有天然大理石的优雅和花岗岩的坚硬，具有木材般细腻和温暖感，具有陶瓷的光泽；石质韧性大、表面硬度高、不易损伤、耐磨、耐酸、耐腐蚀、耐高温、抗冲抗压抗折抗渗透等功能，受热或撞击时不易断裂，可修复性极强，修复后可恢复至原状；

3、 极具可塑性，线条浑圆流畅，可做许多造型，其变形黏合转弯等部位的处理有独到之处，可实现无缝拼接；

4、表面没有孔隙，不易被染色，油污水渍不易渗入其中，抗污力强，易清洁；

5、易于保养，表面滑痕可用400目细纱纸沾水打磨。
